  • Lovely pictures and I wish I had been there. I'd like to see more! One thing though: we have cuter (though fake-looking) belly-dancers here. ;-) On the other hand, if you think Shisha is expensive over there, you shouldn't ask for one over here (if you are able to get it all...).

    Cheers,

  • Great photos Pat!

    Oh, and... I'M ALIVE!

I'm told that they gave me an "extra large dose" of sedative during the operation because I was still sensitive to pain while they were working. I shudder to think what that may have meant, but I'm glad I don't remember it. Anyway, as a result, I've been high since Friday, and only now is my head starting to clear up.

My current prescription is as follows: Quadruple the recommended dose of ibuprofen (over 3 grams per day until the swelling goes down), antibiotics, mouth rinse, and acetaminophen/codeine "as needed" (yay!). Plus I'm still high from the happy juice from 3 1/2 days ago. And boy, does that stuff ever screw with my memory and perception of time! Fun fun fun...

  • Tom, what was the operation? Wisdom teeth?

  • Falco,

I wish you had been there too, however if by some miracle I make it to Japan before my wedding date you can throw me a wild japanese bachelor party.

Also, Falco have you gotten anything in the mail from me? We sent it off to you some time ago.

Tom, I'm happy you're not too achey and happy your still a little loopy. Loopy can be fun! Hurray for nitrous!

    Cheers,

  • Yes Adam, four big giant wisdom teeth. And as of this morning, I can finally think straight.

  • Oh, and while I'm at it, here's some more happy fun government stupidity:

  • Looks like a fab time! You still look exactly how I remember you!

Rachelle is currently on her way to Toronto, her second trip to Canada this year!

    Hope you're all good :)

  • Tom,

Thats bloody outrageous. The ADM is also bloody stupid as this is going to generate far more negative press than just ignoring the scientist would have.

Also i'm happy my dept hasn't received the edict to use the 'canada's new government' slogan. Geologically speaking it is new... however in the world of minority governments it about middle aged.

Oh and Elesha, so great to hear from you. Please let me know all about your adventures and where life has taken you. Oh and remind me who Rachelle is again!? Thanks.

  • Tom, glad to hear you're recovering. I had three wisdom teeth out last January, and I was pretty miserable for about two weeks, so I know how you feel. I've still got most of a bottle of Tylenol-3 in my drawer if you need to borrow some :p

  • :) Rachelle is the scary one covered in piercings!

I haven't got your email anymore as my old account got hacked, so if you email me: miss_elle@hotmail.co.uk I can send you an update of things in my life :)
