And the show has plenty of references to Canadiana so you know it's a Great White North production, like: "that person swam farther than Marilyn Bell". LOL.
But what's with the accent of the Homeland Security agent, Ms. Tightass, or whatever it is (figuratively and literally). I recognize the actress from "The Sopranos", but don't recall hear having a Mexican/French/Italian/Tennessean accent.

No idea. I only remember her from CSI Miami.
I was really surprised to find her on a CBC show. Leading to my comment about actually having a budget worthy of a really good show!
