INAPPROPRIATE

http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/story/CTVNews/20080707/bush_harper_080707/20080707?hub=World

YO' BUSH... addressing heads of state and government like this (whether Blair, Harper or other) is about as appropriate as calling over a gang members by saying "pardon me my good sir, might you spare a second and come hither"

IDIOT. It was bad two years ago and its still bad. The fact that this ignoramous is the head of state of the United States is just astonishing.

I cannot wait for November.

Cheers,

P

  • Yeah, it was inappropriate; though it was innocent enough -- likely motivated by a desire to be friendly...which is often manifested by acting informal. It was just too informal.

I certainly don't think Harper would yell to the President, "Hey Georgie Boy", or "Hey you, Dubya, is that icing sugar on your lip or are you back on the coke".

  • No he wouldn't... but it might have been an appropriate reply to 'Yo, Harper'... Maybe then Bush would get the friggin hint that he's a big boy now with a big boy job and nees to use his big boy (not cow-boy) voice with his colleagues.

    Sheesh.

  • Actually - he kinda reminds me of Zaphod Beeblebrox from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

  • Dude... Yes... I've been saying that since I watched the 2003 movie version.
