Um, Pat, I think the fact that it was published at 00:02am on April 1, 2008, suggests that you ought to take this curry with a grain of salt.

Have a look at some of the daily mail's other stories... its not so far off the margin.

If it is an april fool's joke its one that could potentially work as I think many mace - like deterrents use concentrated capsaicin from peppers. So a curry spice bomb isn't that hard to believe.

Yes, it's essentially highly concentrated pepper spray in grenade form.
